Brushed aluminum solar lights work by using solar panels to generate energy from sunlight, converting it into electricity to charge an internal rechargeable battery. These cells then power the lights. A built-in light sensor controls the lights, which automatically activate once the sensor detects that dusk is approaching.

Place your solar house sign at least 2 meters away from other light sources. The closer the light is, the less efficiently it works. Make sure the surface of the solar panel is not blocked. Choose a location that receives as much direct sunlight as possible.

If the solar lights are not turned on, they will still charge, and by turning them off, you can keep the battery fully charged for several days when exposed to sunlight. It is an idea to use solar lights regularly to do this. Note that in the winter, when the light is low and there isn't much direct sunlight, this will only charge your light for a short period of time. On sunny days, your lights will stay brighter and longer.
